The oil pressure switch connector carries the circuit between the oil pressure switch and the dashboard warning light or gauge, and a fault here can cause a false oil pressure warning. Signs of failure include: an oil pressure light that stays on despite correct oil level and pressure verified by a gauge, or visible damage and corrosion at the connector. Replace the connector to eliminate a false warning light condition.
