["Strut-Mate Strut Boot Kit"]
The strut bumper and bellows kit includes both the rubber dust boot and the polyurethane or rubber bump stop that limits maximum suspension compression and protects the strut shaft from bottoming out. Signs that replacement is needed include: a clunking noise when the suspension reaches full compression over large bumps, a torn dust boot exposing the strut shaft, or a collapsed bump stop that no longer provides cushioning. Install a complete kit whenever struts are replaced for full protection of the new strut.
