["ACTUAL OE PART"]
The water pump circulates coolant throughout the engine and cooling system, maintaining the steady flow needed to regulate engine temperature and prevent overheating. Signs of failure include: a coolant leak from the weep hole at the bottom of the pump body, a grinding or whining noise from the pump pulley bearing, overheating, or coolant contamination from a failed internal seal. Replace a failing water pump immediately - it is one of the few failures that can destroy an engine within minutes if ignored.
