The crankshaft position sensor connector transmits the sensor's speed and position signal to the ECM, and a fault here can mimic a failed sensor. Signs of failure include: recurring crank sensor codes after sensor replacement, hard starting, stalling, or a no-start condition. Replace the connector if damage or corrosion at the plug is the root cause of engine management faults.
