["Exc. Built in Mexico"]
Brake caliper guide pins allow the caliper to float on the bracket and self-center over the rotor, ensuring both inner and outer brake pads wear evenly. Signs of worn or seized guide pins include: uneven pad wear where the inner pad is much more worn than the outer, a caliper that drags, or a vehicle that pulls to one side when braking. Replace the guide pins whenever they are corroded or seized to restore proper caliper operation.
