["Gold", "Friction Ready"]
The brake caliper houses the brake pads and uses hydraulic pressure to clamp them against the rotor, generating the friction needed to slow and stop the vehicle. Signs of a failing caliper include: the vehicle pulling to one side when braking, a stuck caliper causing the brake to drag and overheat, uneven pad wear between sides, or a spongy brake pedal. A seized or leaking caliper is a serious safety issue - replace it without delay.
