Stabilizer bar bushings mount the sway bar to the vehicle chassis and allow it to pivot as the suspension moves, isolating road noise and preventing metal-to-metal contact. Signs of worn bushings include: a clunking or squeaking noise from the front or rear suspension over bumps, the sway bar visibly loose in its cradle, or a handling feel that has become vague and unpredictable. Replace worn bushings to eliminate noise and restore proper sway bar function.
