Strut-Mate Coil Spring Insulator
The coil spring insulator is the rubber pad that sits between the coil spring and the spring perch, isolating road noise and vibration from the chassis and preventing metal-to-metal contact. Signs of failure include: a thumping or clunking noise over bumps, road noise that has increased noticeably, or a visible chunk of rubber missing from the perch area. Replace worn insulators to restore a quiet, isolated ride.
