Strut-Mate Strut Mounting Kit
The strut mount connects the top of the strut assembly to the vehicle chassis and contains a rubber isolator that absorbs road vibration and noise, preventing it from entering the cabin. Signs of a worn strut mount include: a thumping or clunking noise over bumps, road noise that has increased significantly, a strut that cannot turn smoothly during steering, or visible collapse of the rubber isolator. Replace worn strut mounts whenever struts are replaced for a complete and quiet suspension installation.
