Strut-Mate Shock Mounting Kit
The shock mounting kit includes the upper mount, bearing plate, and boot components that connect the shock absorber or strut to the vehicle chassis and allow the strut to pivot during steering. Signs of failure include: a clunking noise from the top of the strut tower when turning or going over bumps, a strut that creaks when compressed, or a mount bearing that has seized causing noise during steering. Install a fresh mounting kit whenever struts are replaced to ensure quiet, smooth operation.
