The MAP sensor connector carries power, ground, and the signal voltage between the MAP sensor and the ECM. Signs of failure include: MAP sensor codes that return after sensor replacement, an intermittent fault that is position-sensitive at the connector, or visible corrosion or damage at the plug. Replace the connector to eliminate the electrical fault.
